Moor's Edge

  Activities

This special spot in the West End of Provincetown, on the edge of the National Seashore and at the end of Bradford Street Extension, is full of variety, nature and views. Take a walk across the breakwater, or hop on your bike and hit the trails. Put your kayak in the water 200 yards down the road and paddle out into the harbor. Walk or bike to stunning Herring Cove Beach. Watch the herons or gulls in the morning over coffee.

At the end of the day, enjoy a refreshing beverage on the 2nd floor deck or front porch as the sun dips below the dunes and the last die-hards walk or bike back from the beach. Throw a meal on the grill and relax in the fully appointed kitchen/dining area or head into town for dinner.

Stroll a mile up Commercial St. to the fabulous West End restaurants, or if you're tired from your long day at the beach, hop the $1 Ptown Shuttle, which loops by your door every 20 minutes, and be in town in less than five. After dinner stroll back down Commercial Street, or catch the shuttle back and finish the night by gazing at the evening sky......

Vistas
Right out the front door of Moor's Edge are the Moors, a unique and beautiful salt marsh ecosystem that abounds with bird life. The lush green of the grasses and the tides make this one of the most interesting and calming vistas on the outer cape.
