 Driving From Boston:
Take Route 3 South to the Sagamore Bridge. Cross the Bridge and take Route 6 for approximately 50 miles. When you enter the town line of Provincetown, do not make any of the left hand turns into town. Keep on Route 6, bearing to the left (still on Route 6) when you see signs for Herring Cove Beach. Your first intersection on the left will be Bradford Street Extension (unmarked). Moor's Edge at the Village at the Moors is the front building in the townhouse complex on the corner, #5-15.
Ferry From Boston:
Two ferry lines provide service from Boston to Provincetown and back, Boston Harbor Cruises ( www.bostonharborcruises.com ) and Bay State Cruises( www.boston-ptown.com ).
Plane From Boston:
Cape Air ( www.flycapeair.com ) provides service between Boston's Logan Airport and the Provincetown Airport.
Around Town - Taxi:
There are several cab companies operating in Provincetown, Provincetown Cab, Mercedes Cab and Queen Cab. Fares are generally $3.00 a person to anywhere in town.
Around Town - Shuttle:
The Provincetown Shuttle is a great way to get around town and to the beaches. During the summer season, the Shuttle passes Moor's Edge every 20 minutes or so. During the shoulder season, the shuttle runs regularly, but less frequently. The fare is $1.00.
Around Town - Bikes:
There are several bike rental companies in town that rent bikes hourly, daily, weekly or monthly. The most convenient to Moor's Edge is Gale Force Bikes and Beach Market located at 144 Bradford Street Extension. ( www.galeforcebikes.com) There are bike racks at Moor's Edge. Bikes are not permitted inside the units.
Around Town - Kayaks or Boats:
Kayaks and boats are available from Flyer's Boat Rental (www.flyersrentals.com) on Commercial Street in the west end of town. |
